Photography has been a large hobby and passion in my life for as long as I can remember, and I look forward to extending that passion to you! I have been sharing special memories with thousands of clients since 2005, and I have shot over 150 wedding days. Recently, I had to make a big decision: to specialize or not. I made the leap and specialized in wedding photography. This was a big change for me and for all of my lovely seniors, mommas, families, bands, and models. However, with my full time teaching job at Midwestern and my own personal life (see photo below), I needed to decide where I was going to place all of my time and energy to be the best photographer in that area. And that area was weddings.

Weddings are a part of my blood really. I understand them--their incredible value all the way to their endearing chaos. My goal is to capture the visions you have and turn your special wedding day into creative keepsakes. I document the day as it plays out in front of me in a variety of styles. I've grown so close with so many couples because we share a special bond! Many of my clients thank me with a big hug at the end of the night because I actually get involved in the wedding day: visiting with family members, snapping candids, dancing, grabbing lunch for the girls because they forgot, sewing the bride back into her dress, pulling a bobby pin out of my head to put a bride's curl back in place--you name it; I'll get it done. I want your wedding day to be a memorable, fun experience that is organic, not forced. Thus, my attitude and work ethic will reflect that. Also, being a bride myself--I have learned even more techniques about how to be a better photographer for my brides from the boudoirs all the way to the big day!

I'm very flexible and would love to ensure that your needs are met, so I do like to meet prior to the wedding to discuss the package as well as details in order that I can be adequately prepared to set up your perfect session. So let's meet for cupcakes, coffee, beer, a skype conference, or lunch--whatever suites your fancy :)
